The Group started its first Ferro Alloy project at Raipur in Chattisgrah state in India.

BEGINNING In 1988 – 89, Srinivasa Ferro Alloys Limited established a capacity of 5400 MTPA of Ferro Alloys and augmented to have an existing capacity of about 100,000 MTPA of this 30% is proposed for Export.

The present capacity of the group is achieved with SRINIVASA FERRO ALLOYS LIMITED, Durgapur with 3 furnaces (6500 KVA, 7500 KVA & 5000 KVA) and also with associated concerned SHRI GIRIJA SMELTERS LIMITED with 4 furnaces (3600 KVA & 3 X 5000 KVA), SRI GAYATRI MINERALS PVT. LIMITED with 2 furnaces (9000 KVA each).

Now the company is going for an expansion at Kakinada with a port based ferro alloy plant having capacity of 50.40 MW and with a captive power plant of 99 MW capacities and also going for tie up for manganese ores on long term, which is a major input after power.

WHAT THEY SAW Ferro alloys are as integral as Raw Material for all steel production houses. In the growing economy of our country and global scenario, the supply- demand gap is continuously growing.

THE EDGE SFAL and Group units are located near Ore potent sites and power plants. Hence cutting down tremendously on costs of transportation and power. This efficiency has direct effect on the cost of product. With lower overheads in transport, power and labour, the group commands operational costs and also offers highly competitive pricing on their products. Thus rendering the ferro alloy industry very cost effective and most sought after by the houses of steel.

CAPACITY in long term contracts and association with customers, the Group boast an impressive client list which includes INDIA’s all large Steel houses like Tata Steel Limited, Steel Authority of India Limited (IISCO Steel Plant, Durgapur Steel Plant, Rourkela Steel Plant, Bokaro Steel Plant, Alloys Steel Plant) Rastriya Ispat Nigam Limited, (Visakhapatnam Steel Plant) and the company enjoys and excellent reputation in Indian market for its commitment and adherence to timely delivery and Quality Product.
